Car polishing is the process of removing minor damage to the clear coat (scratches, dull spots and light scratches) using a polishing compound to flatten the clear coat, thereby increasing the gloss level. Polishing can be done by machine or by hand. After polishing, a layer of wax is added for protection of the paintwork and also provides a shiny end result.
